...he's scottish?
I love that in earthbound jeff live in a boarding school and runs into "tessie" the loch"tess", like Nessie, as they truely call it in Scotland, and it has also been said that major industrial and economical inventions were to be of Scottish decent, such as the telephone, television, steam engine, refigerator, toaster, toilet, lawn mower, electric wires or telegraph, ya good old cast iorn cannon caranade..percusion caps, opening the age of pistols hand cannons, etc.
It would be fitting that jeff would be a Inventor type, reflecting the great inovations of the scots major inventions and discovery.
With that, I was Just infering that Jeff is from Scotland of the British isles, like Ness is from "Egaleland" ...aka America and play baseball...etc
