SFLL PageWorx Process by Layeyes SFLL PageWorx Process by Layeyes
I'd write a step by Step when I have time
But it goes with something like this

1 Staging the Pannels
2 Clean Lines
3 Flat Colours
4 BackGround Development (to Acknowledge Lighting)
5 Shadows and Lighting work
6 Color settings

It's a bit of the mix that, I tend to roll all round to do stuff.
but its a OK process. I still discovering things and figuring how to do whatever
I'm Open to any suggestions if anyone has any tips.

Every time I see one of these GIFs I learn something new about coloring or drawing in general.

So, to get a proper feel of an atmosphere you gotta apply several layers of lights and shades? Because, as I see it, you apply shadows by hand first, then you added a layer of bluish light (the kind of light you find inside an hangar like that) to blend the colors with the natural tones of the things around (like how Beltino changes to a more bluish green skin color because of the lighting), then you lower the brightness of those areas with shades or with dim light to enhance the effects of bright light (is this here the exaggeration takes place?) and last you add a reddish tone to a nearby source of light (I believe its natural light coming from outside) to accentuate the light that falls over characters near the natural light source (like Fox on the second panel)

I mean, dang, that's quite some work just to set a mood or atmosphere, maybe it's not that hard but since I don't color with a tablet or programs like Photoshop I'm a total newbie at this, so this comment comes from someone who barely knows what is he talking about hahaha

I wanted to say, baby Fox McCloud is friggen adorable! You can just barely see James behind his cute little ear. And look at nerdy Fara, NERD! and of course, this is the first panel with... Slippy. Still, I have full faith in you guys that you'll be able to make one of the most unappealing characters in gaming, to a more appealing character. Even if it's a slight incremental gain, it's still a success so no pressure at all. I also saw that you guys don't like Vixy Reinard and she won't be in the comic, so will Fox have a mother? Can't wait to see that. I've been saying that a lot, I know, but I'm just THAT excited for this comic! The quality is amazing, it's actually being updated at regular intervals, and it's all just so lip smackingly good! I have a reason to look forward to Mondays, something no one ever said, ever.

Little Slippy is so awkward to see, he's literally a fucking frog

Also somehow I hadn't noticed James in the second panel until this submission. Too cool
